You can't Spying Mission out of an Archon Investigation. Did you just convince him not to play it, saying you had a Spying Mission? And if so, why would anyone take that "deal?"

I phrased poorly- Tim showed an AI on a bleed for 7 due to 2x spying mission. Mark explained that he couldn't play it in that case.

Knowing it was in his hand was enough for me to take my time after that point, hence the luck.

But I am reminded of the recent conversation on here about milling. If you're milling yourself for 7+ cards a turn, perhaps having more effects that punish having a large ash heap will deter such strategies. *Looks at Trochomancy.* And if you're recurring cards, perhaps effects that punish recursion would be another deterrent.

Really the master phase bloat is my issue with it as well. There isn't enough sudden in the world to stop it and inevitably it will fire off.

Mewcat asked me to put his deck together for him (Harbingers of Skulls bleed grinder featuring Vengeful Spirit), and he included inevitability of the void. I was going to talk him into going with Trochomancy instead and I'm glad I didn't since he was my predator game 2 and we were heads up in the finals.
