Aion's Cry

[tem] +1 intercept, or +2 intercept if the acting minion has Celerity :cel:
[TEM] Play when an action is announced and the acting minion has either already acted two or more times this turn or it is not their controller's turn. Burn 2 (?) blood to end the action, and that minion cannot act again until after their next untap phase.

V:TES need: at inferior, it gives the True Brujah some conventional defence, with a bit of Celerity/Temporis fluff. The inferior is also intended to make the card playable in reasonable numbers, rather than solely being a corner case silver bullet - but it could be any ability you want, really. The superior is intended to take aim at decks stacking many Freak Drives and also the possibility of tempering Enkil Cog a fraction. It generally affects Madness Network somewhat less, because if you fear getting hit by this, you'll often (typically?) have a bunch of different Malkavians able to use it, so you can plan in a different way. I'm unsure about the amount of blood at superior. 3 felt too much, but I'm unsure about 2. Burn a pool to..., instead?

I haven't given it a fallback level - Summon History doesn't have one - but something innocuous could be devised if wanted, obviously.

Note: the name is just me picking a random mythological figure associated with time. But...

Art notes: per Wikipedia, which is never wrong , it should be a young man stripped to the waist in an ancient Greek outfit. Then have him making an anguished cry. Surround him with a circle motif, and have a few zodiac constellations in the background.

Minor textual note: referring to the minion's next untap phase, rather than the controller's, turns up on e.g. Flash Grenade, Internal Recursion, On the Qui Vive.

I like the concept, but have a suggestion. So lets take a decent card and make it a hoser if the action minion has Celerity.

Aion's Cry
:reaction:
A vampire may only play one Aion's Cry per turn.
:tem: Useable by a locked vampire. This vampire may unlock and gains +1 intercept if the acting minion has Celerity :cel: even if intercept is not necessary.
:TEM: Lock this vampire to cancel an action modifier :modifier:. If the acting minion has Celerity :cel:, the acting minion may not play any more action modifiers :mod: or perform more actions :action: this turn.

Probably too long. Thoughts?

Edit: Looks like it double posted. Sorry about that. It won't let me delete the previous post.

Edit: Leaning towards making the card on the powerful side since :tem: is such a niche discipline.

You know, while writing up this card, it occurred to me that there is probably another way to design cards with bonus conditions/effects.

Add term Bonus to rule book.

Bonus: Some cards may have a bonus condition and effect on them. Bonus effects are an additional effect, if the bonus condition has been met.

Example:

Aion's Cry
:reaction:
Bonus Condition: If the acting minion has Celerity :cel:.
:tem: Useable by a locked vampire. This vampire may unlock. Bonus: +2 Intercept.
:TEM: Lock this vampire to cancel an action modifier :modifier:. Bonus: The acting minon can not play any more action modifiers :modifier: or perform more actions :action: this turn.
