Combat does not occur. Put this card into play. While in play, this card represents an ally with 3 life and 2 strength who can strike for 2R damage; this ally enters combat with the blocking minion. Blood Brother Ambush may play cards requiring basic Potence [pot] as a vampire with a capacity of 3. If a card would give them blood, give them life instead. Burn this card at the end of combat or if the combat is canceled.

[REACTION] Only usable when a minion or retainer is being burned by any means except diablerie. Usable during combat. Usable by a tapped Nagaraja. Remove that minion or retainer from the game instead. This Nagaraja gains 1 blood if the minion was a vampire or gains X+1 blood, where X is the blood or pool cost of that ally or retainer. Burn option.

window to have your Nagaraja gain 3 blood?
Can you play a Blood Brother Ambush then Consume the Dead when your Blood Brother Ambush is burned from Combat damage to have your Nagaraja gain 3 blood?

Hangon - unless im missing something:

Consume the Dead is a reaction, useable during combat, but still a reaction.
Blood brother is a modifier - To play blood brother ambush, you need to be acting.

I think you can play it while acting, as if fits specified window.

You can't play reactions while acting. It's a reaction that (unlike most reactions) is playable during combat, but it's still a reaction.
