One small point: because the Giovanni clan symbol is a hard-edged square, and because it's so large, it looks like it ends the marble strip on the left side. You can't really notice the fade. Maybe reduce the size of the symbol or fade the strip further up.

i used the Giovanni icon as a reference for the topmost point of any other icon. I see your point, though. When I go back and make all the fades consistent I'm planning on getting the outlines of the clan icons consistent as well.

Seems like FFG is using the same idea in next month's Netrunner release.

As I understand guys from FFG (and WoC design team by the way) are reading this forum.

the concept isn't exactly new, either.

Have had a chance to take a shot at re-designing library cards.

The idea is to make them as easy to understand as possible. Took some input from Ankha's blog post and some from Self Biased full sleeved stuff. If I have a chance will work on a crypt card also.









This design works with the standard "boxed" image artwork on cards.
