file ARDB not opening deck lists

30 Jun 2015 17:09 #71902 by Blooded Sand
I think the decks were maybe created in an older version, but now ardb refuses to open them, just giving an error message of "an error occurred while opening ..."

Due to this I cannot open ANY of my old decks, and retyping all of them manually is just way too much of a pain. Any help?

This is a known issue with 3.2.1 and greater and was never fixed. I recommend using 3.1.1 and the upgrades for the card database should work.

Yes. I believe this should work. Just copy the .exe file and keep your other files.

To clarify, go to the folder i have 3.2.1 installed, then paste the exe for 3.1.1 there? this will keep the most up to date card sets then?

I just downloaded the 3.1.1 version and run that (admittedly on OSX).

From there download images here: code.google.com/p/ardb/downloads/list

And here for TU: www.partage-facile.com/TRA2ZFZBH1/tu.zip.html

And here for the 2015 promos: www.dropbox.com/s/k5mp03anpfb2o15/promo.zip?dl=0

And here's the updated CSV file for all of the above: www.dropbox.com/s/a2j5wg1zygny9yt/vtescsv.zip?dl=0

Would be nice if all of this could be consolidated some how.
