Vessel is a really terrible card, you shouldn't use it, especially not in that kind of numbers. It takes you two turns to gain any profit at all from a vessel so it is extremely slow. Also gaining back the cost of the expensive hunting grounds would take you the whole game so you wouldn't actually be gaining any pool in long time, only losing it. For example, you play a vessel and a regular 2 pool hunting ground, you are -3 pool the turn you play it, then only after 4 turns later you start to actually gain profit from it.

this deck bloats really well

i post these decks so that they may ultimately be compared to each other for overall meta balance.

this deck was 60 cards with ~40 masters

all it did was hunt, hunt, hunt and hunt.

vessel is better than blood doll for this deck because it minimizes potential for master-handjam

cost with minions this cheap, rarely is a factor

the example breaks down as soon as there are more than 6 minions in the equation.

10x(hunts and a vessel go a long way.)

Sure, the number of turns to recover 1 Vessel and 1 HG changes if you have 6 vampires each with 1 Vessel, but you still have to work off a -3. Example: Untap phase, use 5 Vessels (+5 pool), Master Phase play Vessel and HG (now +2 pool overall), Minion Phase hunt 5 times vs Master Phase play Blood Doll, use 6 Blood Dolls (+6 pool), Minion Phase hunt 6 times. Sure, hunting grounds means you can avoid having to hunt on future turns, but pay 1 to see 1 and then bring out a 1 or 2 cap is just as cost effective as Vessel + HG without having to match clan in play to HG in hand and you have more vampires in play. A great strength of Vessel and Blood Doll is choosing not to use them the turn you lunge to have a bunch of extra bleed actions.
