Seems like there were plenty of timeouts here with only 8 GWs (out of 21 possible).

Day 1 was totally opposite (27 GWs out of 30 possible) and Day 2 seemed OK as well (10 GW out of 15).

Yeah, seemed like a lot of timeouts this time. I myself ran a little experiment and ran a few full-forward decks and a few wallish decks. My sample size is small, but the results are fairly striking. I had no timeouts (at least not with me still alive) when I played an aggressive deck and quite a few timeouts playing walls.

Because those timeouts prevented what might have been eventual game wins, I'd say the aggressive deck is a better choice. Usually you can get away with a wall on day 2, but my games were ponderously slow and it wasn't a good choice.

I played another kind of wallish deck (with lots of allies and Unmasking) for this particular tournament, but honestly everybody was so tired and such, my games were just goofy fun.

I like goofy fun!
It seems that way too often people forget the fun part in VTES.

I'll sort the lists in the weekend (for 2012 and for 2013), but I think that after NAC Day1, everybody qualifies for 2013 Continentals.
Oh, and that is also for the ACCs and SAC of 2013.

If you win a 10+ player tournament in North America after the 2012 NAC at Origins, then you are qualified for all Continental Championships in 2013. (Note: this is exactly how qualification works for First Chance Qualifiers!)

FCQ was only 2 rounds plus finals so only 15 GW available but 9 GW is still under par.
