Thanks for the prompt reporting .. but as Librarian pointed out, a breakdown of the decks (at least for the finalists) would be very nice.

Jura gave quite good report about the finalist decks, so I wont list them here.

There were indeed quite a lot of Finnish politics, but I didn't see any mono potence around. I played CEL/POT deck and had Tupdog and ANI/POT/dom nosferatu around.

There were at least onw Girls will find... deck (played by Timo Rekola) and multiple Nu Tremere Royalty decks with Obediences (because expectation was lots of bruise as well, I suppose).

Some Cybeles and Nergals creating Great Beasts were around as well. Euro Brujah sumthn' and Nu Brujah vote bruise decks as well.

Also, Stealth bleed decks were around, one really fast !Malkavian deck with Rising to nerf whole table's bloat and at least one Kiasyd S+B deck (the one in the finals).

All in all, there were us that toyed around with bruise and those who gained VPs.

Finnish Politics (i.e. :POT: ) ruling the day?

Why, violence won the day.
Juri played with a Shambler deck.

Everything went very smoothly even if the start was delayed some 15 minutes or so. Nevertheless the finals started on time and even if there was no time limit at the finals the game still lasted under 2 hours.

A big thank you for Raymond for organizing everything and everyone for attending as well as great atmosphere.

Here are some pics from the venue.

Here is an overall pic from the beginning of the finals.
I might have some details wrong so please correct me if need be...

Starting clockvise from the top, the bald guy arranging his pool is Jura followed by Jarko, Otso, Jari and Tommi.

After initial rounds I took a pic of each playarea after that player's round to get an overview what was being played. It was perhaps round 7 or so.

Jari's playing with the only Finnish vampire in VTES, Louhi, with Rodolfo riding shotgun. Also visible is the devilish edge...

Tommi's Kiasyd's consisted of the Arcadian, Omme Enberbenight and Dame Hollerton. Constant stealth bleed was generated to get past Jura's Carlton + Unmasking. It seemed like the vast majority of these were boundced onwards though. Then again at one point Tommi got Jura to 1 pool but lacked stealth for the final minion's oust bleed.

Jura's Shamblers. What really saved his bacon was the constant use of Sudario Refraction to fetch of 2x Deflection + Sudario. He has mid to low cap members of Giovanni family present: Stefano, Andrea, Mario as well as cousin Lia. Plenty of deceased relatives are also present (4x Shamblers) as well as that pesky international agent Carlton boosted by FBI Special Affairs Division and Unmasking.

Jarkko's Stanislava and Ingrid Rossler. Too many bounces as well as Jura's bleeds wore Jarkko's own bounces and untaps out.

Otso's Cybele didn't manage to get anything started as he was between devil and the deep blue sea with being the bleed sink (planty fo Tommi's and Jura's bleed were bounced to him) as well as Louhi cancelling majority of Cybelle's actions. Talk about crappy seating...

In the end it was down to Jari and Jura and it was pretty darn close call but once again Jura's Carlton + Unmasking was the deciding factor since Jari was unable to draw enough stealth to get rid of Jura's remaining pool. The horde of Shamblers (5 at this point IIRC) were relentlessly attacking Louhi who for several turns just tended to maneuver to long etc. Finally the weight of the overwhelming numbers proved decisive and Jura's minions ran over Jari's old hag thus preventing Jari from winning the Finnish Championships again (he won in 2009 the first ever FC).
