I also have no good response to Ossian, who can just waltz past my defending allies and make a mess out of my small vampires.

It might be because I've never really played Ally decks, but how is it that Ossian can bypass your allies? I'm curious as it might be a twist I have been unaware of, that could be good to know about?

Ossian rushes vampires at +1 stealth, and, because he's not a vampire, the Mental Patients don't get any benefit from the Unmasking when they try to block him.
