Small but very tough tournament. The final was Ravnos breed+bloat (Sandro Rodrigues, top seed), Stanislava bleed (Diogo Pratas), War Ghouls & friends (Pedro Luis), Antonio & his Nephandi (Luis Sancho), and Lucky Legionnaires (Tito Teixeira). Pedro made everybody lose some pool with a couple of very early Anarch Revolts, soon afterwards Luis Sancho also got one AR out. I got the chance to intercept one of Sandro's actions early on right after getting my first legionnaire, sending one of his vampires to torpor and cycling most of the library to put my Legionnaires and the Unmasking in play in my next turn. I also sent his one anarch to torpor and saved a DT for his Consanguineous Boons, so by the following turn I got the first oust. Diogo had gotten rid of most of the ARs by then, but he had lost quite some pool already and his Stanislava could not bleed enough past his prey's Liquidation+Ashur Tablets bloat, so he was ousted a couple of turns after that. Meanwhile Luis Sancho was happily recruiting his mages, but trading Nephandi for Legionnaires is not a good bargain and he could not really move forward. That put him between a rock and a hard place once Pedro got Ossian and his first War Ghoul out, getting rid of Antonio and his support vampires. But he still managed to wake his Nephandi a few times to block some bleeds, holding on long enough for the table to time out. The legionnaires won with 2,5 VP.
