Hello,

Some ideas regardind the Salubri Antitribu !salu! for the new Xpac :

1st : A master location
Name: Subway Forge
Cardtype: Master
Cost: :pool2:
Clan: !salu!

Card text:
Master: unique location.
During your master phase, you may tap this card and chose a ready untapped vampire you control. This vampire equip a non-unique melee weapon from your hand or library (requirements and cost apply as normal, shuffle afterward). This is not an action and cannot be blocked.

How does this card address a compelling game need?
Some love for melee weapons. Most of the time weapons doesn't worth the cost of tapping a vamp.

2nd : A master archetype
Name: Crusader
Cardtype: Master
Cost: none
Clan: none

Card text:
Master: archetype. Trifle.
Put this card on a vampire you control. Once per turn, when this vampire sucessfully strike with a melee weapon he or she gains 1 blood from the blood bank when the combat ends or 2 blood if this vampire is a Salubri Antitribu !salu! . A vampire can have only one archetype.

How does this card address a compelling game need?
No real need here, just a cool card and something to make melee weapons great again.

3rd : A vampire
Name: Qawiyya el-Gahduba
Cardtype: Vampire
Clan: Salubri Antitribu
Group: 5
Capacity: 9
Discipline: pre AUS FOR POT VAL
Advanced, Sabbat. Red List.
[merged] Archbishop of Jerusalem.

How does this card address a compelling game need?
In the book "Road of Heaven" she is described as the true leader of Jerusalem : the "Lioness of Jerusalem". That's why i think she deserved a title. The base version just give her superior Auspex to better fit the !Salubri intercept aspect.

:POT: :VAL: :TEM: :AUS: - !salu! :trub: :tzim:

I'm sympathetic to the idea but I'm not sure it would work out that well - master cards unfortunately have to be really good to displace other master cards. (Given a deck has, say, 14-22 masters - a chunk of which is almost always pool gain - masters have to be really good.)

As a unique location, with one in the deck, in 50% of games it's in the bottom half of the deck - so does it come early enough to offset the pool cost? I'd be more interested to see something with a similar purpose work in a non-unique way. Perhaps a trifle that's instant, fetching a couple of weapons? Perhaps a non-master of some sort?

The normal version feels okay but probably not good enough to displace other master cards that often. The !Salubri version feels a little bit too good, given that you can activate it with a Weighted Walking Stick. WWS + Taste of Vitae would be 4 blood a combat.

Seems very borderline for a 9 cap. The base version gets +2 strength and a built-in (if expensive) untap, which you're trading for an additional level of Auspex. Having AUS is good, but it feels like a pretty significant downgrade overall. Compare with, say, Sylvie Helgon who gets 10 points of disciplines, an interesting-if-weird special, and only the minor drawback of Sterile which isn't a significant problem. (Red List can at least in theory be activated by other players, whereas you can just decide not to put any breed in a deck.)

If you want to emphasise the intercept angle, maybe something like Anneke, though possibly weaker.

Anneke is "may attempt to block a vampire controlled by another Methuselah, ignoring the normal prey, predator or target restrictions for blocking actions", so maybe:
Qawiyya may attempt to block a (D) action taken by a vampire controlled by another Methuselah, ignoring the target restrictions for blocking actions

Or:
may burn a blood to attempt to block a vampire controlled by another Methuselah, ignoring the normal prey, predator or target restrictions for blocking actions

If the advanced version stayed as-is, I'd at least add something else to the merged version.

Kind of funny, that was my first idea. Master trifle with no cost.

Maybe change the second blood for an untap for 1 blood a la Dabbler ?

The title open up : Eternal vigilance. So your second option seems ok.
