Yes, that is the case. It didn't occur to me that master cards could be targets. The cards I was specifically targeting in my mind were Deflection and Conditioning.

it was just a thought since a lot of mastercards have only 1 or 2 copies in most decks.

I think that "minion card" is eminent, because otherwise you can kill decks. Par example ravnos decks with week of nightmares or toreador antitribue with palla grande

Okay updated. I agree the ability to target master cards is completely unnecessary. This might be one of my favorite cards, it seems to be a hit on multiple levels.
