Alex still has extra points left over, why not change his ability to effectively be Pysche at superior? Just make it only usable once per turn so he can't go into an infinite loop. Pretty sure that is a significantly different vampire that doesn't currently exist in the game.

Akram has existed since Ancient Hearts and his excellent companion Jalal since Final Nights. Not that your suggestion is bad, but the ability already exists and doesn't see much use.

Name: Akram
Cardtype: Vampire
Clan: Brujah
Group: 2
Capacity: 8
Discipline: pot pre CEL QUI
Camarilla primogen: Once each turn after completing combat, if Akram and the opposing minion are still ready, Akram may burn 1 blood to begin another combat with the opposing minion.

Name: Jalal Sayad
Cardtype: Vampire
Clan: Assamite
Group: 2
Capacity: 6
Discipline: pot CEL QUI
Independent: Once each turn after completing combat, Jalal may burn 1 blood to begin another combat with the opposing minion. Blood cursed.

So there are some differences, which as it turns out are significant.

1) Both of the previous vampires required a blood expenditure to activate the ability.
2) Both tried to depend on :QUI: :CEL: which often have heavy blood requirements.
3) Neither could play Animalism untap/intercept/enter combat/bleed cards like Cat's Guidance, Deep Song, or Sense the Savage Way.
4) Neither had built in damage amplifier (Strength +1) or options for combat defense like Flesh of Marble or Fortitude prevent.
5) Neither fit into a combat multi action deck as well as a vampire that has :PRO: :CEL: :FOR:.
6) Both previous vampires restarted combat but that creates a card economy tax on the acting vampire. Instead this continues combat into another round... meaning cards like Carrion Crows, Drawing Out the Beast, Flesh of Marble, and Skin of Night... stick around and don't need to be replayed.
7) Neither had access to Sabbat/Gangrel Antitribu toys like Abbot or Marked Territory.

So I would say it would be a mistake to assume it wouldn't make a difference.

Yea, you basically could have left it at being able to play earth meld to untap and continue fighting. Having the extra untap gets interesting.
