Design Team News:

The storyline rewards cards are on schedule for a Saturday, February 21 release. We're still waiting on one piece of artwork, but if we don't receive it by February 21, we'll post an updated version of the .pdf file as soon as we get it.


Storyline News:

Storyline Coordinator Mike Nudd has announced the upcoming Red Sign storyline event, which will run from March 1 to August 31. Official rules and downloadables to come soon!

V:TES Hungarian Grand Prix is only a month away! It runs from March 20 to March 22 at the Danubius Hotel Flamenco in Budapest. Events include a Nations Cup tournament, a draft tournament, a Continental Qualifier, and a Standard Constructed "Grand Prix" tournament. The winner of the "Grand Prix" tournament will have their picture used in the next V:EKN expansion. Check out www.vteshungariangrandprix.hu/ for more information and to preregister.

The Week of Nightmares events leading up to the 2015 NAC are now on the V:EKN calendar. Mark Loughman and Bob Joseph are hosting a qualifier in nearby Newark, OH on Sunday 5/31. Events then shift to Fabian's/Mac's in Columbus Monday through Wednesday (6/1-6/3). On Thursday 6/4 through Sunday 6/7 it's back to Origins for the NAC weekend. Not only should you attend, but you should bring a friend.

Just can't wait until tomorrow ! You are waiting a piece of artwork ?! Does it mean there will be other cards then the ones from The Returned ?

That's exactly what it means. From the Designer's Diary in late November:

There are 13 total cards in that batch, including cards from The Returned, the Budapest EC storyline, Battle Lines, the Palma de Mallorca EC storyline, and the Lisbon storyline event from 2009.

7 of the cards will be from The Returned and 6 will be reward cards for the other listed Storyline events.

Are those cards going to be constructed tournaments legal?
Where can we find card texts for those?

Yes. The release date will be February 21, and V:EKN tournament rules say they'll be legal 30 days after their release date, so that means they will be legal on...er...um...March 23? I think that's right. Huh, that's annoying because that's exactly one day after the Hungarian Grand Prix. C'est la vie.

Right now, you can find them on my laptop. You may visit me to have a look at them, but then I would have to kill you to protect their secrecy.
