Dark Sovereigns Draft?

With only 170+ cards in the Dark Sovereigns set, is it worth holding a draft tournament or some other format of tournament?

Ive thought about that too, but it looks like a great set to do a mixed draft. Jyhad and LotN with it look great, or for some cheaper stuff, gehenna. BH isnt as appealing for obvious reasons, but DS, not unlike other sets, begs to be drafted with another set.

I'd say that Dark Sovereigns is pretty bad for drafting -contains plenty of overpriced wallapper, a couple of independent clans and a few vamps for other clans.

Not having gone through the actual cards in both sets and their synnergy but I'd still imagine that mixing it with Lords of Night might do it good.

My favorite draft set is 3rd Edition combined with Sword of Caine and Black Hand (4x 3rd Edition and 3 copies of one of the other sets).

Correct. No grouping rule in draft.

We did a DS plus lotn draft that worked pretty well for the snatched and alastors storyline.
