times Basic Bleed Question RE: Bounce

So, after playing for 10 years I shouldn't be asking this, but I've managed to confuse myself because Lasombra posted the FAQ's again... :)

Taken from the FAQ:

When can I play Deflection / My Enemy's Enemy / Lost in Translantion / Redirection / Telepathic Misdirection?
You may play the bleed bounce cards:

when the bleed is announced. (decline to block, then bounce)
after a stealth card is played. (decline to block, then bounce)
after a bleed modifier is played. (decline to block, then bounce)
after a card is played that makes the action unblockable. (decline to block, then bounce)
after a declaration that you will not block. (always required)
after someone else bounces the bleed to you (decline to block, then bounce)

So, we know the following is true:

A. Announces Bleed
B. Decline to block
A. Conditioning, +3 Bleed
B. Deflection to C.

and the following is true...

A. Announces Bleed
B. Decline to block, Deflection to C.

Is the following true?

A. Announce Bleed
B. Decline to block
A. Bleed for one.

B cannot now play Deflection? I don't know why, but somehow reading the FAQ has made me really unsure all over again. :)

Of course B can deflect.

Like you said earlier: You may play the bleed bounce cards:
after a declaration that you will not block. (always required)

Unless, of course, the voices inside your head convince you to otherwise, you silly bloodsucker.

Quoting from Section 6.2.2 of the rulebook:

Note that moving past the block attempts (when all Methuselahs have declined to block) is an event and so allows the acting Methuselah (and others) to play more cards and effects.

So, in response to this event, B can still play deflection, after A declares he's not playing an action modifier.

Option 1
MethA: Declare no Blocks
MethB: Declares bleed amount
MethA: May declare a deflection/flick

Option 2
MethA: Declare no Blocks
MethB: Declares bleed amount OR plays bleed modifier (and declares new amount)
MethA: Declares deflection/flick

Thanks guys, that's four confirmations (once from jhattara too on IRC) so I'll stop being silly now. I think I just confused myself re-reading it for the first time in a while. ;)

Declining to block is an event, so the following chains are both acceptable.

A. Announces a Bleed for 1
B. Decline to block
A. Bleed for one. (pass)
B. No reactions. (pass, burns 1 pool)

OR

A. Announces a Bleed for 1
B. Decline to block
A. Bleed for one. (pass)
B. Bounce forward
