This is incorrect. For example, "after action resolution" is still part of the action - the acting minion could play Freak Drive after the action has resolved, for example.

And Reform Body breaks the normal rules on action modifiers and reactions being playable only before action resolution (by default), as there are rulings allowing Reform Body to be played in response to diablerie, for example.

Yes.


Indeed, in as much as the card is useful, its reaction form would (presumably) mostly have been intended by the designers for situations like diablerie or other diablerie-like actions (e.g. Sacrificial Lamb). So designer intent seems pretty likely to be preserved by such rulings.
