Just quick confirmation, can combat cards played by vampire not involved in current combat, such as save face and some sanguinus cards be played on combat between other methuselahs? e.g player A and B are at combat, can I as player C use save face on younger vampire of same clan controlled by A?

Save Face
[Combat] Combat
Usable only by an untapped vampire not involved in the current combat. Only usable during the press step if both combatants are still ready.
Choose a younger vampire of the same clan who is involved in the combat. The chosen vampire gets a mandatory press, only usable to continue combat. If the chosen combatant is still ready after the combat ends, he or she gains 1 blood from the blood bank. Only one Save Face may be played each combat.

Better that we should die fighting than be outraged and dishonored. Better to die than to live in slavery.

Because you want to force two other peoples vampires to fight another round with the mandatory press?

So,

You are including this card in a deck (first mistake) on the premise that someone (Shmuck A, for clarity) will run younger vampires of the same clan as yours AND get blocked AND not have enough stealth AND suck at combat* AND one press will be what it takes to do them in AND Shmuck A is a person at the table who it benefits you to send thier vamp to torpor.
*: if they don't, oops, you help someone and wasted a slot to do it. If they do, success! But it also means you suck (same clan, remember) but included a weird press version of a more narrow Fillip for some reason.

Or it could be that you built a deck so bad at combat that the clan needs this card (MAYBE Nagaraja, but they have too much dignity to play this) or you built it to help someone, essentially premeditation of "wherever another Setite is, Sutek is gonna give them a Save Face press. This deck is awesome..."

It's too narrow, sucks too much at what it does, and basically has 3.5 redeeming qualities:
1. Cool flavor text
2. It's not unplayable in draft
3. Theres no DNR
4. The art is distinct and different ina not bad way with 8 shades of contrast and a Noir detective style arrangement of parts. But the card is so bad that only gets half a point.

I'll take a stab at answering DJHedgehogs rhetorical question:
A. Forgot to slide a proxy copy of anything else into the sleeve.
B. Ran out of copies of Taste, TV, Trap, Target Head, Lucky blow, Glancing Blow, WWS, Ascendance, Misdirection, Haymaker, Meat Hook, Blind Spot, Life in the City, Hellhound, Akenhaten the Sun Pharaoh, and Hawg. Because those are all better uses of a deck slot than Save Face. (But they don't all have as cool looking art or flavor text, to be fair.)

Unless I am missing something, you can just play it on your own younger vampires. There are simpler ways to get a press, but this one gets you a blood too.
