file Pressing Flesh from other player's ash heap

Could not find an answer to this by Googling, so: can you use Pressing Flesh to "reanimate" an ally (which has been previously burned from play) from some other player's ash heap? If so, does it become a (D) action towards that player, or remain an undirected one?

Pressing Flesh doesn't seem to specify that it targets only your own ash heap:

"Choose an ally that was burned from play. Move that ally from the ash heap to your ready region with this card and life equal to its starting life. This ally is a zombie instead of what it used to be, gets -1 bleed, cannot gain life, and may play cards that require basic Fortitude [for] as a vampire."

While Compel the Spirit explicitly specifies your own ash heap:

"[nec] Move an ally or retainer that was burned from play since your last turn from your ash heap to your hand.
[NEC] As above, but move it to your ready region (ignore requirements and cost) with X life from the blood bank, where X is the starting life of the ally or retainer. If it is a retainer, place it on the acting minion."

I always saw it as being able to target other players' ash heaps as well.

By ruling, every ash heaps' contents is undirected, even another players'.

So yes, I always saw it as a possibility to Press cross table's Carlton, which would be an undirected action.

The way I read it is that it can target allies in other players ash heaps. Like Soul feasting can target wraiths controlled by other players also.

(Obv the key interaction here is turning a legionnaire into a zombie :))

ps. Totally unrelated: Petri played one game last week downwind from my legionnaire deck ;)

ps. There was discussion at our weekly tables yesterday that targeting any ash heap being an undirected action is ridiculous and counterintuitive.
