The big traditional Vampire: the Eternal Struggle tournament is again the official European Championship Qualifier (ECQ) for the European Championships held in Budapest in October. The tournament is played with official VEKN tournament rules with three two hour rounds and a final for the best five players. Registration closes 17:30. You can pre-register at
http://vtes.orava.org. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience! Promotional cards will be given to all participants and there are rewards for the finalists and lots of good games with the best players in Finland. Note: unlike earlier the three preliminary rounds will be held at Täffä, not at the big hall in Dipoli.

Vampire: the Eternal Struggle draft. Standard VEKN limited rules. There will be three two hour rounds and a final. Drafting is performed in two large tables and after that you have approximately half an hour to build your deck. Library has a minimum of 35 and crypt 7 cards. Each player can use one recursion. Boosters must be acquired in advance using one of the two available options. 1) 4x Third Edition 3x Black Hand. 2) 4x Third Edition 3x Sword of Caine. V:tES Rapid Thought

Rapid Thought is an alternative Vampire: The Eternal Struggle tournament format. Tournament is played in 3 player tables with 45 minute time limit, 40-90 card library and a minimum of 6 card crypt. Victory Points and Game Wins are awarded as usual. Tournament Points are dealt with 6/4/2 system instead of standard, however with the exception that a player who gets a game win "steals" one tournament point from each of the losing players. Following cards are banned: Una, Blood Doll, Minion Tap, Tribute to the Master, Vessel and Villein. Except for these exceptions regular VEKN tournament rules will be in effect. 3x45 minute preliminary rounds, 45 minute semi-final if needed, and 45 minute final if needed.
