Good episode guys. Very educational. Always interesting to hear elite players talking about their strategy about how to have the table collapse in such a way as to secure a GW. Sometimes just ousting your prey as quickly as possible really isn't the way to go. This is quite a difficult concept to grasp for someone who hasn't been in a tourney final, but is probably key to breaking through. I think I'll rewatch your episode about table balance/backousting/table planning.

I like Anders' bow tie too!

Hey congrats man. Sounds like it was quite a tourney. Though, really, why should Methuselehs have a hard time playing well in a game that starts at 1 AM? :P

Good episode guys!

Regarding the comparative size of Ropecon, not that it is an issue, I'd still say that after EC it is the 2nd biggest tournament in the world. Even with the surprising decrease in attendance this year -the lowest number of players for a good loooong while (71).

Some evidence (dunno if I missed any):

NAC 2012: 46 people
