Once again it's time for the USA National Championship at the Origins game fair in Columbus, Ohio. The pre-NAC events of the original Week of Nightmares are organised by Jay Kristoff, while Ben Peal handles the NAC itself and the other Origins events.

• Black Chantry was at UK Games Expo in Birmingham on May 29-31. Sales, demoes, chats and volunteers were all GREAT – big thanks to Hugh Angseesing and the volunteers Beth Powell, Mikey Ferguson, Luke Greensmith and James Freimuller. Special thanks to A. Angseesing for entertainment and consistent pooping.

• The design team is giving the cards for the Brazil and New York sets a final polish before it's time for print. They have gone through three rounds of proper playtesting – thanks to all testers! Soon there will be product names and fronts will be ready, and more art and actual cards can be revealed. Store date is late summer/early fall.
• Porto de Santos is a card from that upcoming Brazil set, and also a new promo card first available in Brazil:
• Next up for VTES Legacy Card Singles at Drivethrucards (USA) and at Gamepod (Spain) will be Brujah antitribu.
• The chief marketing ghoul is laying his last sweaty hands on the upcoming VTES Player Survey 2026. That will be a very good way of giving your honest thoughts on where the game is headed, so keep an eye on Black Chantry channels for it soon.

Recent news in the World of Darkness
BIG news is coming for Vampire: The Masquerade! To sum it up briefly: A "new Vampire: The Masquerade project" is in active development at White Wolf, smelling a lot like an actual new edition of the game. Some of the key people in the team are Jess Lanzillo (Creative Director), Martyna “Outstar” Zych (Creative Producer) and Diogo Nogueira (Lead Game Designer). According to the official announcement, the intention is to craft this with the player community feedback at heart, with human-made art, and rethinking how metaplot shapes future content. More details are coming at Gen Con 2026, including a first public playtesting. White Wolf urges you to air your thoughts, for example at their Discord server. Exciting times!
