The final was a pretty strange one. Marko was top seed with new Brujah Royalty (the same deck he won the previous Justicar Retribution with, unless I'm mistaken), second seed was Mikko with Muaziz Is Una deck, third was me with Salubri, Jyri with Serpentis Setites w deflection module and finally Hannu with Gr 5-6 Baali Reckless Agitation.

Seating was Hannu -> Mikko -> Jyri -> Me -> Marko

We all (well, four of us anyway) agreed that Mikko couldn't be allowed to take his twenty-minute tool-up turn and I got two Heidelberg's in my starting hand. So it was Spirit Marionette, Heidelberg, hunt at zero, Second Tradition, torpor, diablerie for Muaziz.

Mikko got a second Muaziz up but it was too late and the Baali voted him away. I got Anu, Serenna and Kestrelle. Anu is utterly amazing, especially with the crazy blood management that the Salubri can do. So with a bounced bleed and Anu's special I got through Marko (bleeding for exactly the right amount - had he had one more pool, I wouldn't have gotten the oust).

The three of use left fought and it was anyone's game, really. I finally got Hannu out, again with just the exact needed bleeds.

I was jamming on combat badly here, since Jyri had Change of Targets and the Baali didn't block anything. Ultimately, the winning card (Codex) was one card too far and Jyri got through me, ending the game 2-2-1. I was taken completely by surprise when someone told me that I won. Hadn't realized that it ended 2-2 between me and Jyri and that I had the higher seed.

Matthew makes the Master selection a lot cheaper making it easy to live with the Scarce penalty. Having your prey tap out every turn is nice at which point you can just bleed while juggling your permanents with the Heidelberg. The Dreams and the Aura Readings prevent hand jams.
