file Origins/NAC: Questions of what will be popular, succesful, and your preparations

See the subject line.

Essentially I am curious as to what you think the theme will be this year for popular decks/archetypes and what the successful ones will be. What will emerge to the final tables of day one and day two?

And if you are going what are you doing to prep for the above decks?

I would love to see people's thoughts and speculations on this. Alternatively it will be great to look back at this once Origins and NAC are done and compare/contrast people's thoughts and speculations.

Girls and the decks that can oust them, so agressive weenie decks. I would see a Legacy of Pander doing well in that meta.

Popular deck archetypes to expect at national/continental championship events:

Stickmen
Girls who ...
Weenie tap & bleed
Large vote with Villein/Lilith's Blessing (many clans possible)

Library cards I expect to see:

Villein
Giant's Blood
Lilith's Blessing
Banishment
Deflection
Lost in Translation
Enkil Cog
Deep Song
Eyes of Argus
Freak Drive

It is a big event, one will see decks of most types.

Some will be more common than others.
DEM bleed
Kiasyd bleed
for example, so one can assume at least one of them will be in a final...

On further note I dont see how decks who can oust a girls deck will have a better chance of going to a final than any other tier one deck, also day one decks have a tendancy to be more aggresive...

For the love of god, please not stickmen and the girls decks! At this point a tournament win with them is like pissing in the ocean. If I was to pick a deck to counter both, it would be FoS with some dom and plenty of suddens. Tap and bleed with basic stealth. Revelation of Desire at SER ftw!

Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.
