The Coven rulings

Hi all,
if i play The COven and while it's in play on my prey someone plays it as well.. who contests it, my prey or I?
and if my prey get ousted while having The Coven (that i played), does it leave the game as well or passes to someone else?

It doesn't matter who played the Coven. The current controller of the Coven has to pay the contest or forfeit the Coven he controls.

If the controller of the Coven is ousted, the card goes out of game.

Shouldn't that read "... the card goes to the card owner's ash heap"?

Nope, extrala is correct on all his answers.
