Ankara is good because 1 minion can play all of your bleed bounce for free.

Also, it is just that good.

Noted.

I'm considering Psychic Assault as a cheaper alternative to .44 Magnums and Soul Burns. Obviously it won't protect me against weapons, but at 2-3 slots Soul Burn would have been a prayer card. However, I have no experience playing with Psychic Assault. Thoughts anyone?

Other hilarious equipment: Monocle of Clarity, Sword of Nuln.

WWS is free, played before range, semi-permanent and does two damage(usually). With all of your maneuvers and presses, surely you can land the hit for two to finish someone. Psychic Assault doesn't have the advantage of sticking around if it fails the first time and still takes valuable card slots. If you are black hand, it makes more sense, but still.

If you deal with a fair amount of Magic of the Smith and equipment, 1x NRA PAC could be fun.

Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.

There are 16 blood being spent in the deck. So spending 2 blood to ignore those costs seems like a winner.

Also, being able to bounce when out of blood is strong!

Below is my new version after considering everyone's advice. I added Ankara Citadel and Heart of Nizchetus, added corresponding Magics of the Smith, added combat finishers, and swapped a few of the master cards. How does it look?

Deck Name : Evil Eye
Author : John McGlynn
Description :
Generic Tremere deck based loosely on the popular !Ventrue grinder. Carna should be influenced out first. Most turns she will play Govern the Unaligned at superior, get an equipment, or stand to defend. The other dom/AUS/THA minions protect your pool and slowly wear away at your prey. Theft of Vitae feeds the Blood Dolls and discourages blockers while making Smiling Jack a viable win card. When your prey is too low to be discouraged, tap out with Misdirection or Pentex for a lunge.

Ok, given that no Evil Eye is in the deck - where does the name come from? B)

Perhaps owing to the in-clan :AUS:?

Yes, this deck is named for its reliance on the evil :AUS:. Do you have any constructive comments to add?

... you did notice the smiley, no? :pinch:

And no, I have nothing to add, other than you should make room for a couple of Blood Dolls/Vessels more, the Hunting Ground and Palatial Esatate. Having seen Martin Weinmayer's famous Tremere Deck surviving extreme situations and still making the GW, I'm of the opinion that Blood/Poolgain along with small to medium minions is just awesome. Arcane Library and Chantry really make the Tremere shine. :)

I didn't mean to be gruff, was just hoping to keep the discussion going. Smilies don't turn useless posts useful. :P

A quick search of the TWDA and newsgroup didn't reveal Weinmayer's "famous" Tremere deck. Just a few instances of him placing well in an EC or three. Can you point me to a deck list?

With these magics of the smith I could see the Palatial Estate working out. Let me think about that.
