The monthly tournaments in Joensuu, Finland, are timed as follows:


The Garou Rim Monthly I: The Dabbler (23.2.2013)

The Garou Rim Monthly II: Next Best Buddy (20.4.2013)

The Garou Rim Monthly III: The Blow Torcher (18.5.2013)


The Garou Rim Monthly is the collective name for the tournaments for Spring 2013. The tournies are held at Karsikon nuorisotalo. Strategic details are as follows:


Tournament Day: Saturday (except in January, which is Sunday)
Format: Std. Constructed
Rounds: 2R+F
Time Limit: 2h per round
Fee: 2e
Prizes: Boosters for finalists

Just in case you've missed the mails I've sent to Finnish prince mailing list, it sure would be great if you too could collect 1€/player/tournament for the ECQ shirts, you know in the vein you did with 2012 Nationals.

I sure have. Thanks. I'll have a cup for donations up at the couple of first tournies, and if we can't gather enough like that I'm considering putting the extra euro in the participation fee.

We won't be seeing you guys from South at one of the tournies, yesnomaybe? We could discuss if peeps from Jyväskylä might be coming in March or something.

Since you don't follow emails that often I just wanted to make sure you were more or less on the level with everyone else.

Regarding tournaments, and speaking for just myself here from South of Heaven, definatelyprobablynoitisodarnfaraway...

Sadly due to schedule problems (my moving to a new place taking way longer than expected, as well as like a gadzillion other things) we could not manage our first Garou Rim Monthly today. Then again, it's doubtful we could've gotten 10 people anyways. Sunday's really bad for a tournament day, and many a people were commited in roleplaying or other equally nerdy activities at the meet anyways.

So, I'll have to rename the events a wee bit. Next month should be way better for everyone anyways. Stay tuned for the inital issue of Garou Rim Monthly, come the next full moon!

(it's actually full moon, by the way. Har.)
