I took the top seed with a brutal backstab and went in with 7 1/2 vp 2
tw. Somehow managed to cope with a Brainwashing predator in the first
round and come out on top, considering the caps of my vamps with no
influence acceleration. Barely took the 2nd table before time out, had
Fred Scott's tupdog deck on my back but this deck counters that type
of deck pretty well though I still managed to lose Marcus forcing the
dealbreak and taking out my 2 preys with a top-decked bleed card and a
stolen Nephandus. So, to the final table. I don't remember what the
other players stats were coming in but the seating was like so:

James Lin, Unnamed with Hordes Legal bleeds with light intercept
Shane Taylor, Marlena and small Brujah, Arms Dealers, Computer Hack
and Brainwash
Aaron Clarke, g1 Ventrue law firm with Seconds and .44's
Dennis Lien, Carmine Giovanni Dual Form, Soul Gem, Golconda bloat and
bleed
Robert Scythe, presence/obten vote whilst Marconius protects with
Faerie Wards

I chose to sit in front of Dennis's deck because of it's relatively
slow build up allowing me to do the same. I didn't know what Aaron's
deck was and I knew I couldn't be in front of the other 2. My plan was
to let the table drop with mixed vp's and take it with a tie if I had
to. Aaron was getting hit hard so I let him pass a parity shift on his
prey. I was sure that Shane would take out Aaron and Dennis's deck
wouldn't be doing anything that I could use the Wards on to defend
until late game after heavy bloating so I let Aaron KRC him out of the
game. James somehow got Shane before he could finish off Aaron and the
2 worked on me together. I managed to get stopped 3 times in a row
with only 2 intercept on vote actions, twice by the Unnamed but Shroud
of Absence kept me safe from his agg, and once by a gun toting Ventrue
who didn't have enough combat to knock down a full Ambrosio. A
deflected bleed for 5 (my total pool) was Warded by a 13 cap Marconius
and then I called a 7 point Reins of Power knocking out James whilst
he gave Aaron 6 more pool. I then had vote-lock and about 25 pool and
with Marcus and 3 sabbat vampires had bleed and votes to take out
Aaron. Yay, winner! Here's the deck and info:

Description: I've always disliked Archon Investigation because,
though it takes a big bleeder off you, it hurts my predator too much
(unless he's just a heavy stealth bleeder) and Faerie Wards does
exactly what I like, stopping the bleeds and holding them down. Also
great for all other D actions. Shroud of Absence and Stone Travel help
to not need any combat at all, though I suppose a couple of Majesty's
could help but it was cool like this. Trick is to have Marconius
become the biggest vampire on the table, too bad he doesn't come with
protean.
