Asia continental championship 2012

I'm more interested in the Unnamed/Maleficia deck. I'm tweaking my Unnamed/Cog/Flurry deck to include psalm of the damned, and other maleficia stuff, but proportions are a pain in the ass.

The answer to trying to make Unnamed Maleficia work reliably is to stop using Unnamed and play Cybele instead. Homonculus/Cog is cute and all but in the end she bleeds for 1 (2 with Cog) and needs way too much deck infrastructure to be remotely efficient. Not to mention you're kinda done playing if your Cog gets DI'd, or worse, contested.

I played that Unnamed Barrenness deck that was supposed to be amazingly good for a while, but even with all the drawing luck in the world, passive predators and bounceless preys, that deck just doesn't oust.

I since then switched to Cybele, abuse the MPA for free minions and reliable poolgain trough Tend the Flock / Anthelios engine.

3 bleed and 2 MPAs just can't be competed with.

Those are superior counters and snacks =).

Nice pictures, I'll set it as a goal to try to make it to an Asian championship some year.

65 card deck that I used in the Asian Continental Championship (Tokyo)

I couldn't access the majority of our cards so I just grabbed about 2 or 3 partially assembled Tzimisce decks and some 3rd Ed precons hoping to build a decent enough wall deck. I lucked out and saw a mostly intact weenie VIC bleed deck so I tweaked it with just enough defensive cards, taking out some combat.

I'd definitely change the crypt a little by taking out Lambach for Terence and maybe another copy of Little Tailor or a weenie with basic VIC like Devin Bisley or another Lolita Houston

The crypt was taken from my other Tzimisce deck (Medium caps with a splash of DOM) as I didn't like the Group 4 crypt of the other deck

Game play is pretty basic, bleed with fiendish tongue, use mind of the wilds for stealth or to put the blocker into torpor with aggravated damage and untap to bounce/block

Pentex was saved until the end game when there are about 3 players left and this was instrumental to me getting the game win on the third round and the finals

The deck thrives on multi-purpose cards: Plasmic Form, Changeling, Eyes of Argus, Telepathic Misdirection and even the single Deep Song--all of them gives the deck versatilty, it can adapt to almost any situation.

Meld with the land saved me a couple of times when I faced someone with combat that trumps my own (arms of the abyss + entombment) it also helps when my bleed was bounced by allowing me to untap the blocker!

Rotshreck allowed me to cripple whoever I blocked (prey or predator) by waiting and taking out a key vampire
