Yes and no. "Yes" because I only searched for vampires of capacity 6 or below when figuring out my crypt. "No" because I never even thought about Beast until I read your post. I had never played this deck before the tournament, so it certainly could use a few tweaks. Using Beast is an obvious and good idea and not even considering Beast is a significant deck-building error on my part.

If I play this deck again, I might consider substituting Beast for Ox. The deck relies on the low cost of its vampires to help it survive, so I don't even like my 6-caps. However, Beast is a good value for his cost.

There are two disadvantages of playing with Beast besides his high cost. 1. He can't cycle the many action cards in the deck. 2. The table already dislikes me strongly, and the appearance of Beast may generate too much fear.

I love Dennis' Sylvie deck. Julien, two finals appearances! Good Job! Mike, how could someone else beat you (the King of Nosferatu)with Nosferatu?!?!?!? Aaron, next time Ilse and the boys are in town, it'll be the Nosferatu watching their backs!!!

that deck sickens me, I am now decidedly glad I was not there ;)

:tore: :pre: :tem: :aus: Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.
