Out of the ten games, including the final, only the final ended in a timeout. Another two more minutes and it would've ended properly.

Many thanks for everyone for attending on the Easter Sunday. I was very happy to break the 2 tournament too low attendance streak eveb if there was also a Netrunner's Chronos Protocol tournamnt going on in the next door as well as Gothcon eating up some of our player pool.

Archon submitted but not approved as for some reason the submitted for doesn't show the family names of any players that have umlauts (Lönnqvist, Mäkelä and Hägglund).

Wrote the names normally to Archon at first and at that time Malm's family name was missing. Then copies all the problematic ones from PLayer Registry and had that problem with Malm dissapear but the submitted from now also shows "vekn.net/player-registry?country=FI" for Malm's city even if that was left blank on the form...


Matias should be posting his decklist any moment now so we conclude this report with the namesake of the tournament by, at least according to my old mate, rock and roll's 2nd deity (after Jim Morrison), Roky Erickson.

It was really great to get to a tournament again - many thanks for organizing this again, Lönkka!

I made a slew of mistakes in the finals but luckily my Lasombra predator accidentally contested Alvaro with my Lasombra prey and that gave me the opening needed.

I did like the deck I had - I felt like a believable threat in all the tables I sat in and the toolboxyness didn't misfire often. Despite the toolbox nature it is rather consistent.

Yeah the Alvaro contest was a huge blunder from Juha and a WTF moment. I actually might've fared better, and perhaps ousted Jarkko, had Kari been around longer since he was so consistently bleeding me at least for 3 but with the two stealth. Who knows?

Especially the final was so very enjoyable a game even if I could really taste Jarkko's demise so many a times. But he still frustratingly managed to hang on. Being low on blood really makes it difficult when majority of you bleed and stealth cards cost one blood

Sadly he game ended in a timeout but I think that you probably would've needed just a turn or two to finish off Jarkko.


And yeah, Roky is beyond awesome and has a stunning voice that really is unlike anyone else's. I actually picked that song mostly for the appropriate name and lyrics even if he has so many better ones. If you liked it you NEED to check his record "Evil One (Plus One)" which I think has all the songs from the classic, out of print record "I Think of Demons". Unfortunately some great songs like The Interpreter are missing from both...
