Deck Name : Rachel blocks and goes under the earth!
Author : Lauri Salmi
Description :
I really should take atleast 20 cards off this deck to make it more optimized, now it's too big deck for such deck as this... It worked considerably well during the tournament, however I got a lot of luck on the way to victory too.

Ive ran an IDENTICAL crypt in a few decks like this, and at least twice not drawn Rachel in my opening crypt.
Seriously, 5 in 12 and it happened.

Did you find yourself needing things like mr winthrop, eaglesight, etc? Or flesh of marble? I plan om building another deck like this, but i choked on things like claws even when the deck worked. Bleeding, homonoclous, blocking, earth meld, and stuff like jack and rats did good for me, but other stuff (body flare, claws, childing muse, hunter, carlton, etc) didnt seem to help.

Today 7 out of the 9 decks featured combat quite heavily.

If the game had lasted 2 more seconds Lauri would've needed the Eagle's Sight he had in his had to prevent me from ousting my prey.

Also Flesh of Marble saved his bacon at least a couple of times when Teemu's Enkid kept on rushing him.

Was great to see Teemu's Psyche's being countered by Lauri's Earth Melds like 3 times in a row (just as I had countered Enkidu's Psyches with Jimmy Dunn's Pursuits in the earlier round).

I had a blast in all three games I played and the only thing I regret is that I so barely missed winning the tournament with Street Fighting Man aka. Jussi's Katuritarit (with minor modifications). Then again the finals had been so even that almost all finalists stood a chance at winning the game -my pov is that I was almost about to win... :)

Congratulations to Lauri for winning the local Justicar Retribution tournament second time in a row. :) I also had a lot of fun in all the games I played, mainly because I had to constantly keep thinking what to do next and how in high heavens could I manage to do something to overcome Rachel's defenses.

All in all I think that both games which we played together at the same table were really challenging which was definitely a good thing. My Anarch Revolts didn't show up at all in the final round which I believe were part of the reason why I failed to overcome Lauri's defense plan in the final even though I actually ousted him during the first round of the tournament. :)
