This is probably the single strangest card design I've ever come up with. Strange in a good way or strange in a bad way, you be the judge.

Diminishing Returns.
Event. :event:

Do not replace until a Methuselah is ousted.
When a Methuselah is ousted, put a counter on this card, and tbat Methuselah's predator does not gain 6 pool as usual (or the amount chosen for Political Flux.) Instead, they gain 4 pool, then burn 1 pool for each counter on this card.

So if the card is played, whatever the number of remaining Methuselahs, the first one to oust his prey will get 3 pool, the second 2 pool, the third 1 pool.

Basically, it reduces by 3 or more pool the pool gain for ousting one's prey.

This card won't be played by decks that rely on the oust pool gain to survive. So it will be played by bloat decks to ensure other decks don't bloat by ousting.

I'm not sure it's a good idea, because pooling by ousting one's prey should be encouraged.
