file Some sabbat vampire proposition

01 Dec 2011 15:19 #16654 by Ohlmann
Well, some vampires, with a bit of explanation about what they do, and hopefully some salvageable idea. I have tried to make them as promoting active play and forward pression more than defensive play.

Most names are influenced by RPG (non official) campaign but have been heavily modified to be acceptable as card idea.

First, some Tzimisce Priscus, because I believe VtES is not too kind with the supposed Tzimisce political influence.

Florent
Capacity 7
aus ani pre VIC
Priscus
Once per referendum, you can discard a card requiring [vic] to make Florent gain one vote for the current referendum.

Magdalena the spiritual
Tzimisce
Capacity 9
ani obf AUS VIC THAU PRE
Priscus
Prisci block is worth one more vote. Magdalena gain +1 bleed against Methuselah without titled sabbat vampire.

Some random vampires :

Fate of betrayer
Gargoyle
for AUS THAU
Capacity 6
Tremere antitribu slave
Fate of betrayer can't play combat card. Each time damage are inflicted to Fate of betrayer in combat, prevent one of theses damages. Flight.

I want to play some gargoyle support with my tremere without having a full gargoyle deck, something pretty difficult with standards gargoyles.
Thematically, it's a !tremere that wanted to go back to camarilla. Suck to be him, he has been lobotomized and turned into a gargoyle.
Gameplay-wise, he's supposed to be a light combat solution, a wall between your !tremere and the attackers.
He may be a tad too strong with biothaumaturgical experiment, however. (or other combat permanent card)

Alcibiade, the ritualist
Kyaside
Capacity 8
dom ser ani THAU OBT AUS
Black hand
Action card, equipment, retainer, and ally that require a discipline cost Alcibiade one less blood or pool.

He can do interesting thing, but the niche may be a little narrow. Maybe giving him CHI ?

Some 11-cap, because I feel that Sabbat lack some big cap with +bleed printed on them.

The Urukean
Brujah Antitribu
Capacity 11
obf POT CEL PRE QUI FOR
Sabbat
The Urukean have two vote (titled)
When the Urukean inflict damage on a vampire of capacity 10 or more, send this vampire to torpor after combat (even if they are prevented).
+1 strength. +1 bleed.

No title because he never accepted thoses but still have some political leverage.

Horatius, the severed right hand
Lasombra
Capacity 11
pre OBF DOM POT OBT CHI
Cardinal.
You can spent a master phase action to replace Horatius title by an unique sabbat title already on the table.
When another titled vampire go to torpor, Horatius can burn a blood to remove the title from the vampire.
+2 bleed.

Mark, shy and gentle
Nosferatu antitribu
Capacity 11
OBF ANI POT FOR THAU OBE
Cardinal
When Mark or a younger Sabbat vampire enter combat, his opponent does not replace card until end of the combat.
As a +1 stealth action directed at your prey, Mark can give all your younger sabbat vampire +1 bleed while bleeding your prey.
+1 bleed.

An the bloodthirsty
Sabbat Assamite
Capacity 11
POT AUS OBF DAI QUI CEL
Sabbat slave
Once per turn, after a combat between one of your minion and another minion, if the opposing minion is still ready, An can burn two blood to enter combat with the minion.
An gain two blood at the press step if she inflicted more damage than her opponent.
+1 strength.

Well, that's what happen when an assamite diablerize too much vampires. Imprisoned by clanmates even before the Tremere curse, sabbat assamite use her as a weapon of mass destruction.
Gameplay-wise, the 'sabbat slave' is mainly a way to make her enter combat more easily, and all other special are here to ensure that she can kill her target if needed.

Jean, boring but efficient
Tzimisce.
Priscus.
Capacity 11
pro for DOM AUS ANI VIS
When Jean is untapped or acting, redirection effect and combat end cost one more pool.
+2 Bleed.

The Walpurgis Knight.
Ventrue Antitribu
Archbishop of Helsinki
pot VAL AUS DOM PRE FOR
Once per turn when the Walpurgis Knight is acting, you can cancel a reaction card.
Once per game, you can give +1 bleed and -1 stealth to all your sabbat vampire until the end of the turn. At the influence phase, send the Walpurgis Knight to torpor if you don't have a VP.
+2 bleed.

(sorry in advance if the concept is somehow offensive or if the country is wrong)

And a "concept" 4th generation vampire :

Nanabozo, the last sane human
Malkavian, independant
Capacity 11
PRE CHI DEM AUS OBF DOM
Nanabozo enter play in torpor. While in torpor, Nanabozo can act and react as if she were ready.
If a younger vampire diablerize Nanabozo, instead burn him and permanently reduce Nanabozo capacity by the diablerist's one.
+1 stealth, +2 bleed.

The idea is a ancient in torpor that still act. Gameplay-wise, she's immune to combat and to a lot of actions, and costly to diablerize, without too much limitation (except that she can't block, obviously).
