2-player variant

Just wondering if there is a 2-player variant that is considered the best by the V:EKN community. Or are the standard rules the best way to play? Going to start playing this online with my bro after an 8 year hiatus, and want to make sure we're doing it right.

Standard rules are fine, but can be improved.
I'm partial to End Game and DP:TES.

Thanks for the quick reply and links. I'll take a look at the two you suggested. Is there a way to set up a poll in this forum. I'd be curious to see what the consensus is across the group.

Yes.
Start here:

Create a new topic.
Click on the icon that looks like a Bar Chart, it will be just to the right of the two links, and to the left of the Ebay link.
Create the poll title, then click on the + sign to create your answer options.
