Clarification on Illusions of the Kindred

I always wondered if the vampire called up by iotk took damage enough to burn in combat would they go to the ash heap and escape the "remove from the game at the end of combat" clause as they are in the ash heap and not in the same state of play to be targeted by iotl?

@ boris Based on the discusssion by Pascal with amaranth and iotk. Yes, it would go to the ashheap.
