Hey, new to the game and have been buying cards. This one seemed broken any ideas if it is a gross as it sounds?

What is exactly your question? You posted into the "rules questions" subforum. Do you have any problem with the card?

Or did you want to discuss the possibilities of the cards in the Generic discussion subforum?

It is not gross, it is not broken.
Think of it as a Rutor's Hand for minions that have a very difficult time gaining life.

It is a lynchpin though, if you can block your predator or prey getting one, then that is definitely the action to block on that turn.

Maybe you missed the rule that states you have to tap a power to use a timed effect on it?
