Life Boon question

What happens if players A and B are getting ousted simultaneously, B being A's prey, and then player C plays a Life Boon on A. Does C get the VP from B being ousted which happens at same time as A being ousted, or does he only get the next VP after that which A gets since the VP was gained before the boon was played?

[LSJ 20021029] : "the Life Boon comes before the VP." A gives the VP he would have got from ousting B.
