Dark Influences + Blood of Sandman was created by Ira
If Dark Influences is in play and someone plays Blood of Sandman at superior, is Blood of Sandman canceled by Dark Influences?
Dark Influences
Master: out-of-turn.
Cancel a minion card as it is played. No cost is paid. That card cannot be played again for the remainder of the turn. Put this card in play. The next card played that would cancel another Methuselah's minion card as it is played is canceled (no cost) and this card is burned instead.
Blood of Sandman
Action
+1 stealth action. 
Burn an ally.
+6 stealth action. Put this card on a ready younger tapped vampire. Reaction cards this vampire plays while tapped are canceled as they are played. Burn this card if this vampire goes to torpor.

No. Dark Influences doesn't cancel Blood of Sandman, because Blood of Sandman doesn't cancel anything when it is played.
The next card played that would cancel another Methuselah's minion card as it is played is canceled (no cost) and this card is burned instead.

You should have written "Blood of Sandman doesn't cancel anything when Blood of Sandman is played."
Because Blood of Sandman do cancel "another Methuselah's minion card as it (=the minion card) is played" (cardtext : "Reaction cards this vampire plays while tapped are canceled as they are played. "
