Q: The Uncoiling

Does the effect of The Uncoiling is triggered right when you play it (since you play events during your discard phase), or you need to wait until next turn to start burning events?

During your discard phase, burn one other event at random. Any other Methuselah may use a discard phase action and burn X pool to burn this card, where X is the number of other events in play.


Just like Blood Doll, the Uncoiling is usable the turn it is played.

Master.
Put this card on a vampire you control. During his or her master phase, this vampire's controller may move 1 blood from this vampire to his or her pool or from his or her pool to this vampire.

I would add that you don't have any choice.

Since you play it during your discard phase, you *have* to burn another event.

It's not optional, correct. If there's at least one other event in play, you burn one of them.

Correct.

(Also notice that you don't get the choice of getting the choice with Boll. Getting the choice with Blood Doll is as mandatory as burning another event is with the Uncoiling).
