In draft good commons are what wins games, not rares. So I wouldn't worry about that at all...

Card rarity doesn't have any relevance to drafting.
Just draft Good Cards TM.


Granted you can just have a field day picking up rares but you probably won't end up with a very good deck that way.

I think it was Jo who once said: "if it's not red, and says +1: draft it".
This has two benefits:
1. you will draft a better deck
2. you will spend less time drafting, and more time playing
