file Constant Revolution at 8 counters or Empty Library

19 Jul 2015 19:47 #72109 by prestonp

Name: Constant Revolution
[TR:R]
Cardtype: Action
+1 stealth action. Requires an anarch. Unique.
Put this card in play with 1 counter. During your untap phase, put a counter on this card. During each other Methuselah's untap phase, he or she must burn X pool and/or cards at random from his or her hand, where X is the number of counters on this card. Any vampire may burn this card as a (D) action that costs 1 pool.

I'm assuming if it has eight counters on it, or your library is exhausted, you can't discard cards that you don't actually have to prevent pool damage right? That is to say, if it has eight countries, you can't discard eight cards from your hand if your hand size is seven.

Burning seven cards is burning seven cards. You make up the difference with pool.

Yes. Also trivially true when X=1.

No. Burning 7 cards is not burning 8 cards. Xe'd have to burn 1 pool and 7 cards
(or 2 pool and 6 cards or some other combination that makes 8).

> Or if your hand is less than X you must burn the difference?
The total cards+pool burned must be X.

Correct.
