On the front page at the right, there's a link "More Topics" which shows the latest posts, but it apparently strips away some of the unread topics. And on the forum there's on top a link "Recent Topics" which shows the topics in order from latest to older.

How funny, I didn't notice BGG had that feature... and was happy VEKN.NET has it.

BGG has a link to a page that features just the new posts. Wish VEKN.net had that. I'm having a deja vu, maybe I asked for this before...
