Bingo, and only a select few buy such large lots typically.

For instance, look at Rick Stock's feedback and compare it to the feedback score of the winning bidder. If they match...

Sure, I have links from 13 years ago that you newbies are unable to access anymore (but they still work) which allow me to view all the items on which you bid, how much you are bidding, and how much you paid on the items that you won.

What I meant to say in this thread was: "How can you tell who won an auction from looking ONLY at the bidder's list?" The answer appears to be "I can't." Which is all I wanted to verify.

Kevin, this seems to bother you. You are right if you are trying to get across that the feedback score could be anyone. But are there really other buyers out there with feedback score of 17064? That are bidding ~$3800 for VtES cards? Yes, I know - There could be.

I do, however, have a personal example of how looking at feedback scores can be misleading. When I first started using ebay, I bid on something when I had a score of 2 or 3. Someone outbid me so I bid again. Sometime later I started recieving messages from ebay. The person I was bidding against started sending me user to user messages about how he knew I was actually the seller and that I had created a second acount to push up people's bids. He was so sure I was the seller. He was wrong of course. And we both lost to another bidder.
