I suppose it is indeed the international waters that cause the trouble (because we check on which continent the event was held, in order to know to which CC the player qualified).

Well, it still was European waters an advertised as an European event.

We definitely started the tournament in Swedish waters but might've ended it in international waters. I'm not really sure and I certainly haven't checked...

I guess the ranting coordinator has heard your query and has changed the location from "international water" to "europe" because sadly, there is no "international water championship".
