Relentless Hunter
:modifier:
1 :blood:
Only usable after a successful (D) action targeting your prey or a card they control. The action fails. A vampire can only play one Relentless Hunter each turn.
:cel: :obf: Your prey burns 2 :pool:.
:CEL: :OBF: Burn a :blood: from X (up to 3) other ready unlocked vampires you control and your prey burns 2+X :pool:.
"They sense it, can you?" - Luke Fellows

Note: Not sure once per turn is necessary on the superior text. Basically, the cost gets prohibative to play multiple times in a turn. Not only do you have to multiple vampires with :CEL: :OBF: but you have to have the blood on your vampires and they have to be unlocked. In fact, this card pretty much means you need a card like Hungry Coyote or multiple blood management cards just so you don't run out of blood. One of the interesting aspects to this card is that players have to choose between taking blood and adding it back into their own pool or burning blood on their vampires to cause pool loss for their prey. Also, going to point out something that I noticed in playtesting... a wall deck running Smiling Jack, devastated my playtest deck using this card.

Note: Night Moves + Relentless Hunter + Zephyr is such a cool combo.

Terrible idea. One does not change an action without giving other players an opportunity to react.

I am thinking you missed the point that this can only played on a directed action that are successful and it has to target your prey or one of their cards. Reactions are always playable. In fact, there are several cards that stop this card. More so an entire deck archetype.

Further than that, if you are concerned about
an effect played after the fact that alters the board state, go read a card like Freak Drive or Cryptic Writer. Or if you are worried about card that mimics the effect of an action that can't be blocked... look at Disguised Weapon or Piper.
