I'm not sure I like the idea of physical trophies as opposed to the established theme of abstract trophies like wealth, respect or protection.

It makes them vulnerable to stealing and destroying effects at least. To avoid it, Trophy: Hunting Ground is not a location.

It's a flavor thing. Trophy: Big Favor feels more plausible than Trophy: Magical Sword in the modern day setting. Sure, Magical Swords would still exist but I imagine they would have much less practical value for the average vampire when power is defined as political clout and assets, not raw strength. Of course, the background is open to interpretation so feel free to disagree.
