I somehow doubt it. You're right that a defensive move for weak deck can be useful, but I believe this one too close to blood doll to be able to fill that without being accessible to already too bloaty archetypes.

A clan card might work, for example. Or something close to a clan card - keys off a particular trait, discipline etc.

e.g. if we were of the opinion that the Samedi were weak and a nice master bloat card would help them, you could require it goes on a Samedi, or a vampire with Thanatosis, or a vampire with a bloody useless combination of stupid disciplines


You could also potentially investigate interesting burn clauses. "Burn this card if..."
