How much do you want to bet Rickstock picks this up at the last minute and sells them as singles? I count 7 Parity Shifts.

Well, clearly nobody is really interested in a huge collection like this, even though it's fairly complete and the interesting singles will sell for a lot more than the $122 it's currently at. I'd bid on it, but the seller doesn't allow non-US bids so that's for that :)

It'd be an excellent set for a new player to grab who will then find himself with quite a few fairly hard/expensive to get cards. BUT, as we're not getting any new players this will go to a reseller who will, at a quick glance, will make an easy ~500,- profit.

Ideally, I would like to see new players get the cards without having to pay singles prices. If that is the only way for many people to get the cards they want/need to play the game, it is a short term gain for one small group (singles sellers) for a long term loss for the player base (barrier to play -> fewer players).

Is that the way it necessarily plays out? No, but that's how I picture it.
