On Saturday 18th April, 17 Methuselah’s gathered at Market City Tavern for the Perth Grand Prix 2026, the second leg of the Oceania 2026 Grand Prix circuit. 5 players travelled from Melbourne and Canberra to join with locals, and anyone who knows Australia, knows that this is a big trip (from a local perspective) – 5-6hr flight one way. For those of us on the Australian East Coast, it is easier to fly to New Zealand than to Perth for a tournament.
The event was well organised and run smoothly, with plenty of prize support provided by Black Chantry Productions and Australia’s Online VTES Store.
The preliminary rounds were hard fought before the finalists finally gathered for last showdown.
Standings before the finals:

3. Richard Aumann 2 GW, 7 VP
4. Ben Szymkow 1 GW, 6 VP

The Unmada multi-act deck made a crucial decision to destroy the Heart of Nizchetus on his predator rather than the Club Illusion on the Ministry grand predator, assuming that his predator could survive with 14 pool, however the Ministry Platinum Protocol destroyed the first BH prey.
Nonetheless, Unmada continued forwards, with 3 minions who could do 4 pool damage at 2 stealth (and his prey on 4 pool), he felt confident. But the ever-resilient Rich was able to hold him off, playing 3 Second Trads to survive. Soon after the Ministry deck swept through both Unmade and then the last BH deck. In the endgame, however, the Tzimisce Anarchs finally defeated the Ministry, however with 3 VP, Rathpex won the event.
